What is it about accounting that drew your interest?
I remember in the sixth grade, our assignment was to write a paper on what we wanted to be when we grew up. I wrote that I wanted to be an accountant and work with people. It is working with people that continues to be what draws me to our profession.
What has given you the greatest satisfaction on your job?
Being able to assist clients and firm members in recognizing their business and financial dreams and building relationships.
Describe your most memorable MHC&S moment:
Participating in the MHC&S 60th Anniversary celebration and visiting with clients we have built long lasting relationships with was, and continues to be, very memorable for me.
What words of wisdom would you offer aspiring accountants?
Earnestly listen to your clients to determine their needs and be creative to arrive at solutions.
Describe your work style?
Working in a team approach with clients and with firm members to recognize opportunities and to determine positive results to client’s challenges.
What are your favorite interests and hobbies?
Travel, golf and racquetball.
